| Can you diagnose diabetes using your technology? |
| You
can detect retinal metabolic stress and tissue dysfunction induced by
diabetes, but you cannot diagnose the disease. The prevalence of
diabetes in the United States will result in approximately 90% of
abnormal measurements being from diabetes. The other 10% of
abnormal measurements will be from other diseases, such as macular
degeneration and glaucoma, which account for a much smaller portion of
the population. |
